If you want to fish the Madison River when the water is low, clear, and uncrowded, and the
fishing is excellent, you’ll want to be here in the spring (April-May) and/or fall
(September 15 th – October). You can’t beat our Spring and Fall Specials. Spring
and fall offer some of the best fly-fishing of the entire year. In the spring, water
temperature begins to rise, and fish and insects become more active. Midge hatches are
prolific, and you may experience some excellent dry fly fishing. During the fall Browns begin
to spawn and you have a chance to catch a trophy size fish. You will see more 20+ inch Browns
